Language Centre

The Language Centre offers academic English tuition, tutorials for non native English speakers, proofreading, cultural awareness and modern languages training. We see all these services as vital in supporting the University as a whole since it has such a large proportion of overseas students and also high international aspirations.

Supporting international students is not just about their language – also their integration to new local and educational cultures. All staff and students need to understand this exciting context and take the opportunities and also responsibilities that arise from it.
