Renting private accommodation
Most people think "halls of residence" when they think " student accommodation", but students do also live independently in flats or houses they rent from private landlords. They often share a house or flat with other students. There are plenty of flats and houses in London available for students.
Accommodation Services cannot find houses or flats for you, but we provide support, information and advice so you can do it yourself. You may find the idea of looking for a flat or house very daunting, especially if you are new to London, but don't worry: others have done it and so can you!
To help you with finding private rented accommodation, we co-operate with University of London Housing Services. They provide the Housing Database with accommodation offers for students and also give assistance and advice.
These web pages are designed to give you all the information you need to get started.
Accommodation Services are here to help. A lot of the help we provide is information and advice. Please do
