Where are you based?

I live and work in Switzerland.

What course projects are you currently working on?

At the moment I am working on a summative assessment for HR.

Why did you want to do the EMBA and how would you describe your experience so far?

The EMBA gives me the opportunity to work 100% next to the studies. I profit a lot by combining professional and academic experiences.

How do you find the flexibility of studying on the EMBA? Can you fit it around your commitments?

Of course you need to be able to manage your timetable, but so far it has worked very well because the tutors and the whole team are very helpful and flexible.

Are you able to cater the course to your own career aims?

As I am working within the fashion industry, the course is highly adaptable to my work.

What has been the highlight of the course so far?

We meet professional people from all over the world and various areas within the fashion industry, which is great. Thanks to the face-to-face week and the networking events we have the chance to discuss topics with them personally.

How do the online learning tools aid your learning?

All the information is in one "place". You have access to it 24 hours a day, which gives you the abililty to do your own scheduling.

What is the contact with industry like on the course?

Throughout the networking events, guest speakers, team members and tutors, we meet very interesting personalities from all over the world.

What do you think the EMBA will add to your career?

The EMBA course give me the chance, first of all, to build up a network within the fashion industry and second to combine theories, insights from experienced professionals and my own experiences.

What was your consultancy project about?

With my consultancy project I’ve explored important selection criteria that fashion brands need to consider when selecting clothing suppliers, in order to build and maintain a cooperative and forward-looking relationships.

What are your ambitions for the future?

I want to be in a position that gives me the opportunity to put myself out for fashion products that make consumers feel comfortable and confident.

What’s the most important thing you wish you had known when you started out?

Be not afraid of stepping up to the people you meet during the course. They all bring along enormous knowledge from the industry and the meetings are great chances to learn from experts.

In your opinion what are the key prioritise of fashion business?

Create an environment that allows people to be innovative, learn, share knowledge and exchange views.
