Hannah Kane is the Editor of the independent fashion magazine Phoenix and Director of Phoenix PR.
A journalist, editor and public relations consultant with a background in Law, London-based Kane graduated from the PG Cert in Fashion and Lifestyle Journalism.
During her early career, Kane worked as Editor and Contributing Editor at GFW Daily, Shiny Media and Fashionista Magazine, and gained experience as a production assistant at CNN, London. Alongside a stint as a freelance journalist for Time Out magazine and later FUK.co.uk, she has also edited TheFashionScout.com.
With her experience of editing publications and managing an editorial team, Kane launched Phoenix Magazine in 2010 with photographer and fellow LCF graduate Leigh Keily. A glossy, independently published fashion and culture magazine, Phoenix is printed 3 times a year to coincide with LFW in February and September and Graduate FW in June. In her role as Editor and then Director of Phoenix PR, Kane has enabled the magazine to promote the work of emerging designers, writers, photographer and illustrators, whilst featuring exclusive interviews, features and editorial photoshoots.
Alongside co-founder Kiely, Kane has created an internationally-distributed magazine with a bold mix of editorial and fashion content, all aiming to inform and inspire readers working within the fashion industry.
