Whether you are a photographer, designer, stylist or art director, or even a complete beginner, this fashion photography course aims to help you develop your skills in researching, producing and managing fashion photoshoots.
The course will explore the history of Photography and Art where you will discuss iconic masters of this form of art.
You will then learn how to gather research to produce a professional mood board illustrating your ideas to pitch for a photoshoot from a brief and receive feedback from the tutor and class.
During the course you will visit several museums around London which include the Photographer's Gallery and discuss work you have visited in the exhibitions.
Through several classroom lectures, you will also learn about the art of light and composition and then work on several days of photoshoots with a professional model, makeup artist and photography technician.
The photoshoots will focus on how to best use natural light as well as artificial light and you will then select and edit your most successful images taken.
The course will help you develop your own style of photography, with the guidance of the tutor, Nicol Vizioli, a contemporary photographic artist and fashion photographer. You'll leave the course with electronic copies of your fashion photographs and invaluable advice about your next steps toward mastery of fashion photography.
