By way of weekly guided sessions and creative explorations devised and delivered by Sanjeev Davidson, you will be provided with a framework of tools and an essential knowledge experience to help achieve focus as you navigate and cultivate a balanced and thriving career in the creative arts.
 
Topics explored will range from the importance of daily mindfulness in order to achieve and improve productivity and efficiency, the art of creativity, shapes, colours, patterns, elements, words, movements and sounds. 
 
This curriculum is designed to enhance your creative well-being and reinforce balance. It is a space to come to be present.
 
Practical tips and tricks on achieving the following will be experienced:

  • Being present
  • Being efficient
  • Being productive
  • Overcoming creative blocks
  • Stress management
  • Preventing burnout
  • Being playful and having an internal and external smile during demanding times

Each session will guide you to a place of stillness to breathe, to pause, to reflect, to feel expansive, to sense and know your potential and will be followed by hands on creative tasks.

Taught by: 

Sanjeev Davidson. Sanjeev has been actively exploring and practicing mindfulness for over 10 years now. He has attended a rich variety of retreats and well being workshops all over the world. Including: OSHO (Pune - India), Katy Appleton & Maya Fiennes (Apple Yoga, Ashiyana Goa), Jean Hall (Ulpotha - Sri Lanka, Shunya - Ibiza, Triyoga - London), Art of Living (London).

He integrates key aspects into the demands of Creative and Fashion Life.

Level:

Beginners.No previous experience required, just come with an open mind and ability to turn your phone off.

Booking:

Your course place is confirmed once you have booked online or via the phone using a credit or debit card. There is no deadline for booking. Places are offered on a first come, first served basis, and all courses have a maximum number of students. We suggest you book early to avoid disappointment.

 




Tutor information

Sanjeev Davidson completed his MA at Central St Martins and began working as an art director at BBOY creating their brand identity and managing their multimedia production team.  He then moved onto graphic design for Pepe Jeans and Fox Racing, before designing for Ben Sherman. He spent four years as Head of Design and menswear collections at Firetrap, ensuring the brand values and image was the essence of all product areas, to increase product sales and market share. He has also been instrumental in shaping Firetraps brand image for UK and global markets. Sanjeev was then head hunted to Head of Design at Hackett, where he redefined their product development and range offer, to reposition the brand for international expansion and his contributions helped them to achieve the Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade 2012.  He is now combining consultancy for new businesses with lecturing at LCF. This has included delivering regular branding workshops in China and Argentina for business owners, and in the UK for international audiences.


Materials

In order to fully participate in the practical exercises please bring the following materials/equipment to the first class:

  • A3 Sketch Pad
  • Good Selection of Coloured Felt Tip Pens
  • A pair of Scissors and A Glue Stick.
