Delivered in conjunction with the college's Fashion Business School, this event will introduce you to some of these changes and through forward thinking lectures, discussion and debate, help you understand the implications for your business and the fashion eco-system. Tutor Biographies:

James Clark - James Clark is the course leader of the Executive MBA (Fashion) and a senior lecturer specialising in fashion product management at London College of Fashion, UAL. His teaching within the Fashion Business School currently covers fashion merchandising, supply chain management and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining UAL, he worked within the UK fashion retail industry which includes substantive positions with Debenhams, Coats Viyella and House of Fraser. This practical experience blended with his academic research interests enables James to consult within industry and has published Fashion Merchandising: Principles and Practice, the first academic resource aimed at European fashion retail undergraduates and early career merchandisers. His current PhD research focuses on the effects of disruption on fashion retail business models.

Matteo Montecchi - Matteo Montecchi is Senior Lecturer in Fashion Marketing and Course Leader for the Integrated MSc in Strategic Fashion Management.  His expertise is strategic marketing for fashion, lifestyle and luxury products, digital and social media marketing for luxury brands and online retailing. He has extensive experience in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, including MBA and executive courses, both in the context of specialist fashion colleges and business schools. Matteo’s research investigates how digital technologies and emerging social platforms influence the creation, development and management of fashion and luxury brands.

Abdullah Abo Milhim - Abdullah joined London College of Fashion in 2013 and has taught at both under and post graduate levels including the EMBA within the Fashion Business School. Prior to his move into higher education, Abdullah enjoyed significant experience in investment banking, working for Merrill Lynch as a structured finance analyst with a special focus on emerging markets. He has also worked with Bloomberg as an equity analyst covering emerging markets, the hedge fund industry as a Buy-Side Research Analyst for MENA Capital.In addition, Abdullah is a professional freelance-training consultant. He has consulted on projects for Western Union UK, trained senior partners in HSBC, PwC and KPMG and various oil and gas companies and emerging markets government departments. 

Lisa Henderson - Lisa Henderson is a Lecturer in Human Resources Management and studied MSc International Human Resource Management at Kingston University. She is accredited to the Chartered Management Institute as Chartered Manager and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. In her twenty year industry career she has worked globally in the Retail Operations specialism developing SME and start-up businesses. Her role as an industry practitioner with vast and varied experience in leading, managing and developing people within organisations has led Lisa into higher education teaching where she lectures at under and post graduate level. 
Lisa’s PhD research focuses on Strategic Leadership and Culture within industry. She also has a strong research interest in the generational challenges and wellbeing of the future workforce. She has contributed to the Strategic Fashion Management textbook with a chapter on Human Resource Management.

Jonathan Chippindale - Jonathan is a digital entrepreneur, with a successful technology start-up and a wide experience of mentoring and advising both businesses and respected academic institutions around the world.
His wealth of knowledge has been built over twenty five years of experience in luxury goods, with an emphasis on digital. He possesses a proven track record of creating value and driving sales using insights, creativity, innovation, collaboration and cultural sensitivity. Having lived and worked overseas Jonathan has strong knowledge of consumer markets from the United States, across Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
