The objective of this course is to educate and inform you on the fashion life cycle; from “Concept to Carrier Bag”. The programme is aimed at sales associates, and is ideal if you want to develop your career in retail. It'll help you to increase your knowledge, interest and vocabulary of fashion products and increase your confidence when communicating product qualities to your customers.
The course will be certified by London College of Fashion and a project will be set for assessment at the end of the programme to ensure that objectives have been met. The course consists of six modules delivered over seven months, and a commitment to all modules is required.

On completion of the programme delegates will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance from London College of Fashion, and a grade for their project and presentation.

Toby Meadows is the author of bestseller 'How to Set up & Run a Fashion Label'. He is the founder and director of Three's Company Creative Consultancy, a collective of fashion professionals providing creative and business services to the fashion industry, as well as a director of the London based womenswear designer label Belle & Bunty. As well as consulting to many of small to medium size fashion enterprises, Toby has worked with some of the world's largest and most recognisable fashion business from Zara and Topshop to high end labels Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Christian Dior, Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood. He currently acts as a consultant to the Centre for Fashion Enterprise working with the next generation of highly talented emerging designers.
Polly Holman has been a practicing image consultant for over 25 years and has lectured in personal fashion styling at London College of Fashion for over 10 years. A regular source for image and style for the media, her courses have global appeal, attracting students from China to Brazil. In addition, she's the managing director of an image consultancy specialising in professional presentation and communication skills. Her vast experience of the image industry has enabled her to deliver training programmes worldwide to assist people to achieve a greater level of personal success and confidence. She is a Fellow, Life member and past President of the Federation of Image Consultants. She is the co-author of the professional qualification for the Image Profession and author and manager of their Quality Assurance system.
Clair George is a consultant and freelance trainer specialising in fashion product development. With experience gained at two of the UK High Streets key retailers Marks and Spencer and BHS, Clair has a wealth of knowledge of the garment manufacturing and product development process. Her roles have encompassed investigating new technical developments in both fabric garment and components; upgrading and developing existing products; assessing new and existing suppliers; managing an international supply base; resolving development and production issues as well as maintaining quality and safety standards and training. Evaluating trends and sourcing new products and developing and upgrading existing products have also been key parts of her roles. Clair is a lecturer at London College of Fashion delivering training for the fashion industry, in particular UK retailers.
