The Digital Anthropology Lab creates an opportunity to explore where the human meets emerging technology across research, student experience and knowledge exchange.
DALab use the lens of anthropology to facilitate collaborations between fashion, aesthetic, body, craft and society to help organisations prepare for an ever more connected future.
Centre for Fashion Curation
The Centre for Fashion Curation (CfFC) is an invaluable resource for researchers interested in curating fashion. The Centre is embedded in the School of Media and Communication at LCF, but works with students and staff across LCF and UAL. The centre offers the MA Fashion Curation course at LCF.
CfFC’s academics work in the field of fashion curation and museums. They work on different types of projects, from exhibitions to installations and commissioning work. You can find out more about their work at UAL’s research information site called Research Online. CfFC also lead the Exhibiting Fashion database that records by year, details of international fashion exhibitions for the purposes of capturing, investigating and reappraising the discipline of fashion exhibition-making.
The CfFC webpage provides background information on projects and news of upcoming events. The Stories section on that page highlights a range of CfFC’s past activities, including reflections on exhibitions, events, and publications. There are also interviews with alumni of MA Fashion Curation exploring career trajectories after the MA.

Digital Learning Lab
The labs are open to all students at LCF and provide access to a wide range of technologies including 3D Printing, 3D Scanning and Photogrammetry, Digital Fashion and 3D Garment Visualisation, Motion Capture, Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Wearable Technology and Physical Computing, 3D Sculpting and Interactive Development and Design.
Centre for Sustainable Fashion
Centre for Sustainable Fashion offers a variety of sustainability focused projects and modules for courses at London College of Fashion including: BA Fashion Journalism and Content Creation, BA Fashion Design and Development, BSc Fashion Management, MA Fashion Entrepreneurship and Innovation, MA Fashion Artefact, MA Footwear, MA Fashion Futures.

Centre for Fashion Enterprise
Centre for Fashion Enterprise (CFE), now part of London College of Fashion’s Graduate Futures offering, is renowned for the workshops and expert advice it provides. To date, over 750 fashion businesses have benefited from CFE’s support, including designers that have gone on to become household names and whose businesses contribute hugely to the UK’s Creative Industries economy. CFE alumni include Molly Goddard, Charles Jeffrey, Craig Green, Wales Bonner, Mary Katrantzou and Erdem.
