Stuart McKenzie

Spatial Practices Programme; Stage 1 Associate Lecturer, BA Architecture

I am a practicing architect specialising in transport and infrastructure projects, involved mostly on underground rail projects for Transport for London.

I work predominately at a strategic level, concentrating on the planning of new underground lines. I'm interested in the relationship between the rail network and the public life of the city; the implications of how the nodes that connect us influence a city as a whole. Alongside transport projects I have been involved in designing public spaces, such as street and bridge transformations.

I am a graduate of the Mackintosh School of Architecture and Westminster University. I am currently a part-time Associate Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Architecture course.
