Jona is a graphic designer and design researcher.

Educated in Germany and the UK she has more than ten years experience as a design practitioner across the fields of visual identities, editorial and book design as well as exhibition graphics and for five years she led the graphic design team of Land Design Studio where she worked on projects for clients such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, Natural History Museum London, Miraikan Tokyo and English Heritage.

Jona's research interest focuses on museum studies and here especially on exhibition design and exhibition design practice as they are part of museum making. She recently completed her PhD in which she explored the multiple roles of graphic design in museums and exhibitions, drawing attention in particular to the contributions that graphic design makes towards the exhibition content and its narration in and through the gallery space.
