Graphic Communication Design Programme; Advertising Subject & Route Leader, BA Graphic Design.

I gained a BA in Graphic Design (1973) from the Central School of Art and Design (now Central Saint Martins) before working in advertising both in New York (Lord Geller Federico Inc.) and London (D’Arcy MacManus and Masius) before setting up Lester Challis Ltd in 1992. 

After several years teaching advertising on the course as visiting lecturer, I became Route and Subject Leader for Advertising in 1996. 

My book, 'Helmut Krone, the book. Graphic design and art direction; concept, form and meaning after advertising’s creative revolution' was published by The Cambridge Enchorial Press in 2005.
