I work predominantly in Film and Photography and my current research explores how the experience of living differently for a period of time informs approaches to thinking and making
Together with Lucy Alexander I recently conducted the educational experiment Commune in the Futuro House, which saw 4 students spending 4 days 6 hours 45 minutes living and working in a Futuro House located on the roof of Central Saint Martins. Our research began in 2015 with the formation of onehundredandtwenty as a space to explore and experiment with notions of collectivity and connectivity in art and design education. We are currently writing a book on the Central Saint Martins Foundation course, commissioned by Octopus Books and due for publication in September 2019.
My work has been commissioned and exhibited by the Centre Pompidou (Small Gestures in Bare Rooms 2009), and shown at Momu in Antwerp, Staatsgalerie in Stuttgart and the Kunsthistorish museum in Vienna.
I have an MA in Photography (RCA), a BA in Fine Art (Sheffield Hallam University) and PGcert (CLTAD).
