I am Curriculum Co-ordinator for 3-Dimensional Design and Architecture area, and a Senior Lecturer in Jewellery, Ceramics and 3D Design on the Foundation course. I have a wide range of teaching experience, having worked at Central Saint Martins for more than eight years. I have also taught at various other universities as a visiting lecturer in ceramics, product design, jewellery, applied arts and professional development. I received a postgraduate certificate in learning and teaching from University of the Arts London in 2011.
I am a working artist and crafts person – specialising in ceramics, making one-off large-scale pieces by hand. My work has been exhibited internationally – including at Collect art fair, the V&A’s Pearls exhibition, Origin at Somerset House, and galleries across the UK and in New York. Awards received include an Arts Council development award, a Crafts Council Next Move award, and 2010’s Jerwood Contemporary Maker prize. A major commission from Museumaker features in the permanent collection of the Women’s Library in London.
Commercial commissions include working with Topshop, Paul Smith, Maharishi, Agent Provocateur, Coco de Mer, and Halfpenny London. My work has been featured widely, including in Another Magazine, Observer Magazine, Elle Deco, Vogue, The New York Times, Icon, and Paris Vogue. Publications include Batch (A&C Black Publications) and The New Jeweller (Thames and Hudson).
