Curriculum Leader for Fashion & Textiles

I’m a Freelance Fashion Stylist, Model Casting Director and Academic.

I am a Curriculum Leader in the Fashion and Textiles department on the Foundation Diploma Course at Central Saint Martins and teach on the Fashion Communication pathway.

I graduated from Central Saint Martins with an MA in Fashion (Print) and I have been teaching Fashion, Textiles and Fashion Communication at a range of institutions for the last 12 years.

As a fashion stylist I work for both editorial and advertising clients. Recent work includes the styling of the Lacoste L!ve worldwide campaign, and I have consulted for brands including Fred Perry, The Duffer of St George, Pringle of Scotland and Christopher Kelly Design.

I have worked on various shows for London Fashion Week over the last 14 years including backstage production and in the role of a Casting Director for: Alexander McQueen, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, Ann Sofie Back, Aquascutum, Ghost, Sophia Kokosalaki, B Store, Carola Euler, Clare Tough, Radar H, and Spijkers en Spijkers.

Other fashion projects have included roles such as the styling co ordinator for the YSL-24 / SHOWstudio film, Giorgio Armani’s RED project and Fashion Rocks.

Collaborations with photographers include: Mitja Bozic, The Cobrasnake, Liz Collins, David Goldman, Aitken Jolly, Rebecca Lewis, Mary McCartney, James Muldowney, Jennifer Pattison, Tak, Nicole Winkler and Film Directors Sam Arthur, Carlos Jimenez and Mark Waring.

I am interested in the themes of the future of the fashion show and hidden fashion communities and intend to research these areas further.

I created a fashion blog in 2012 which documents the fashion trends on Foundation at CSM: www.fashiononthefirstfloor.tumblr.com
