Biography
I am an artist whose work ranges across media, with particular emphasis on painting in its broadest terms. I am concerned with the enduring potential of the painted image, the interplay between cinema and painting and disrupting structures of representation.
My recent work revisits the 'seascape', which in relation to issues relating to geopolitics, identity and territory re-emerges as a charged site. My exhibitions include 'UnSpooling' artists and Cinema, Cornerhouse Manchester. 'Wonderland' Village Underground London.
