Dr Núria Querol
Fine Art Programme; Associate Lecturer, MRes Art: Exhibition Studies
I am a researcher and curator. My research pursues several interconnected strands linked to exhibition studies and issues of globalisation, transculturality and postcolonialism, the primary geographies being China and India.
Since 2014 I have been lecturing on contemporary art and globalisation at King's College London and at the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London. Previously I lectured on curatorial strategies and contemporary art in Asia at the Royal College of Art, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia’s Study Center and the Open University of Catalonia.
I hold a PhD in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art, and an MPhil (with Distinction) in Art History and Theory from University Autónoma de Madrid.
I am currently working on a monograph examining the impact of globalisation on curating contemporary art in India.
