I am a director, designer and installation artist. I'm also Artistic Director of Corridor, a performance company I set up in 2000 to create site-specific events often working in collaboration with young people, older people and arts and community groups.
My particular site work specialises in installations and performances in unusual buildings and landscapes where the architecture of the site is used as inspiration and narrative, gradually revealing memories and atmospheres that have built up over the years.
I trained as a fine artist and theatre designer. I co-founded and became Artistic Director of Hesitate and Demonstrate, the influential visual theatre company, and have since been making installations, theatre performances and large scale site-specific events.
I'm an Artsadmin artist, an honorary associate of the National Review of Live Art, an associate lecturer at Wimbledon College of Art and visiting lecturer at Central Saint Martins, Goldsmiths College and LAMDA.
