Drama Centre London offers teachers of drama in secondary schools/colleges and other colleagues in related areas, opportunities to view our BA audition process as observers. This offers a fascinating insight into the selection of candidates and allows us to learn more about each other.

We have a policy of auditioning everyone who applies, so the morning session is devoted to observing applicants and picking those students whom, the panel feels, have the potential to go into the next round in the afternoon. You can choose to observe the whole day, or part of the day, depending upon which interests you most.

On five Saturdays, we hold a final recall date from which students may be offered a place. Many colleagues have commented on how valuable they have found these sessions in enabling them to feed back to their students directly. Whatever you decide, Drama Centre London will make you most welcome!

Please contact our school administrator, Maggie Wilkinson (m.wilkinson@csm.arts.ac.uk)  to book a place. It would be most helpful if you could title your email: 'Teacher observing auditions'. We would also be grateful if you could provide a mobile telephone contact number (or similar), along with your name, school and job title in your application.

Morning sessions start at 09:30 or 10:00 (confirm when booking). Please arrive a little before the start time and one of our students will meet you at the ground floor reception and escort you to where the auditions are taking place. Afternoon sessions begin around 14:00 and usually finish about 17:00-18:00, although they can continue into the evening as late as 19:00.

The nearest station is King's Cross.
