Description

This is a hands on course for those who want to design furniture, create building and interior plans or draw schematics for laser cutting and CNC milling, Autocad is a core element in the process for producing and organising your workflow from digital to physical. Autocad is sometimes referred to simply as CAD and it is this acronym that highlights the applications importance in CAD / CAM practises. The application has core tools that allow for precision and accuracy where this is required for physical outputs. With training and practise you will develop confidence and familiarity with working in 2D to create plans and diagrams.

The content and workflows for the course have been developed through teaching and working with Architects, Product Designers, Art Directors and Interior Designers.

In this course we will work through methods, that will enable you to learn many of the processes and tools in the application, there will also be an introduction to CAD terminology and principles.

This course would be appropriate for anyone working in spatial design, product designers and artefact creators.
