Description

This course introduces anyone interested in learning 3D visual effects and animation to Maya, the industry standard software used in the Film, TV and Games Industries.

We will cover the primary modules in Maya, modelling, animation, texturing, lighting and rendering; giving the student a solid foundation in the core software tools to produce a short animated sequence.

There are a maximum of nine students enrolled on each session to ensure that you get plenty of one-to-one tuition from your tutor and the class can work at a speed to suit the whole group.

Kevin Rowe is an experienced practitioner and tutor in animation and VFX at a range of leading HE institutions.
