Description

To make a success of your practice, career or business within the visual arts and creative industries, ideas need to be conveyed in a clear and engaging manner.  This course will support you in raising your profile and attracting new clients.  It is essential to present yourself and your artwork, creative products and proposals confidently to potential sponsors and be able to buy at fairs and exhibitions. During this course you will learn by a mix of taught theory and practical exercises - techniques that will build your confidence and help you overcome any public speaking fears.

This weekend course school will assist you in the structuring of oral presentations; improve vocal performance and making the most of written, printed and visual materials.

This course is aimed at artists, designers, photographers or creative professionals who are already trading or employed in the arts or design sectors or who intend to set up an arts or design practice.

Please bring with you to the first session:

Notepad and pen
Please bring to the first day three to four examples/images of your artwork, creative products/ services and marketing materials - if you have any, printed out as A4 or A3 if possible.
Please do not wear any tight fitting or precious clothes to the first class as our first guest speaker will be going through some warm up exercises.
