If you apply for a fashion course, BA or MA, an internship or a job in fashion you will need straong portfolio. But what does a good portfolio consist of?

You might have accumulated some fashion design work but how do you present your work in the best way possible?

During this fashion portfolio weekend course we will look through any creative work you have done and collate it into its most presentable form. While we also discuss how to improve and expand areas to better your portfolio.

Individual tutorials will tailor your work to help you create your perfect portfolio and promote your uniqueness.

There will also be group workshops where other students work can inspire you with fresh ideas.

This course will teach you to communicate your work as well as expand your potential as a creative in the fashion industry.

Tutor information

Petra Metzger is a fashion designer living and working in London.
Following her graduation from the acclaimed Fashion MA at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design, Petra launched EINE in summer 2013.

She developed her dressmaking and design skills while working alongside innovative designers such as Haider Ackermann (http://www.haiderackermann.be/), Hussein Chalayan(http://husseinchalayan.com/) and Peter Jensen (http://peterjensen.co.uk/).
Her work is distinguished by its strong tailoring and its unabashed celebration of woman. While pursuing her profession as a designer, Petra is teaching subjects including fashion design, pattern cutting, drawing and styling at Central Saint Martins College, Norwich University of the Arts and the London Art Portfolio.
