Description

Taught by a professional specialising in distressing techniques, this course is aimed at fashion designers, costume and set designers and anyone interested in experimenting with worn out effects on fabrics. From a given brief and attending to the individual needs, the students will be producing a collection of experimental samples and tests. The course will be workshop based and will encourage students to explore and experiment with techniques such as devore and specialist pigments. Students will also find their own ways of manipulating natural and synthetic fabrics in order to obtain aged and theatrical effects.
