London and Istanbul are among the world's oldest and richest cities in terms of heritage and historical sites. Their global appeal is booming, with artists and designers keen to experience the beguiling mix of both the ancient and modern styles of these vibrant metropolises.

Our partner institution for these courses, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSGSU), is situated in the heart of Istanbul by the Bosphorus Strait, looking out across to the continent of Asia and is the perfect base to explore the city and catch the progressive and fashionable vibe of Turkey's cultural capital.

Dual City 2015: Reasons to join

The Dual City summer sessions are international short courses in Art and Design that explore two cities and one creative subject area from two different cultural viewpoints with our qualified, local experts.  This programme includes a range of practical fashion, design and art courses that began in 2006 with students from around the world taking a career boosting or vocational short course spanning two, dynamic and creative cities.

Dual City students explore exciting Art and Design subjects from complementary and contrasting viewpoints that broaden their creative horizons and kick start their imagination.

Courses run in London at Central Saint Martins and one of our six prestigious partner schools in:  Barcelona, Copenhagen, Istanbul, Milan, New York and Paris, lasting two or four weeks (one or two weeks in each location)

Students come away from our Dual City Summer courses having:
