Description

Everyone has imagination. But not everyone knows how to harness their imagination – or to use it effectively. Some spend their whole lives waiting for creative inspiration to strike, while others are convinced from an early age that they do not have the ability to conceive new ideas – or to put those ideas into action. Yet the ability to apply the imagination is an acquired skill –something which can be learned, and which can be developed over time with practice.

We are not all creative geniuses. But all of us can learn to make greater use of our existing abilities. This course will teach you practical and specific skills that will unlock some of your hidden potential – basic techniques which you can use in your career, in your studies, or simply for your own creative fulfilment.

These techniques that you'll learn derive from the methods of successful creative practitioners, as well as from contemporary approaches to teaching and learning in the applied arts. These approaches will include seminars, practical workshops, group projects, short field trips and visiting speakers from creative practice.

We can offer you a powerful toolkit to develop your creative potential. All you need to start this journey is an open mind.
