This entrepreneurial short course aims to assist in developing a range of inter-personal and practical enterprise skills to help you profit from opportunity. Many skills need to be enhanced to succeed as a practitioner or build a business within the visual arts and cultural industries.

Over two days you will learn what makes a creative entrepreneur, how to focus, and think creatively about future business opportunities. Other practical sessions include being able to negotiate with clients, improve you presentation skills, generate imaginative publicity ideas, and discover how to sell.

Please bring to the session:

  • Notepad and pen
  • Printouts, photographs or examples of your work (3-4 sheets or small objects would be enough). If you are unable to bring examples you may still attend the course.
