This hands-on woodworking course for beginners has been designed for budding designer makers or keen DIY enthusiasts that would like to gain the skills necessary to create their own furniture. A series of workshop activities will ensure that you complete the course with finished work and practical woodwork skills.
In the first part of the course you will practice and develop core joinery skills. In the second part, the skills learned will be applied to a set project, when you will build a piece of furniture. Please note that you will be working on a specific project and will not be able to make your own design during the course.
At the end you will have a finished piece of furniture to include in a portfolio and have gained the knowledge, experience and confidence to attempt basic furniture making projects of your own.
