Sigen - Becoming A Strong Brand


Recognising the need for Chinese companies to take their business from manufacturing products and equipment for other brands into the more sustaining business of producing their goods under their own brand, we were commissioned to develop a course on branding by a leading Chinese fashion college.

The course is a collaboration between Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion, combining a tutor with a strong fashion background with one from CSM’s MA in Innovation Management has proved a successful combination. The tutors complement each other combining industry expertise with an understanding of strategic problem solving and an understanding of how to enable innovation to flourish in a business context

Aimed at Managers and Middle Managers from a variety of backgrounds, the course encourages group work and practical exercises to ensure that delegates leave with concrete ideas and strategies for implementing what they have learnt within their company.

The course initially ran in December 2010 and proved so popular that it is now exclusive to the Chinese Fashion college it was created for and has run twice in 2011 with plans to continue in the future.
