Introduction

This workshop will introduce you to the UAL's new CPD Framework, which offers a more flexible approach to gaining accredited qualifications in Academic Practice in Art, Design and Communication (up to MA).

Who should attend?

Any staff interested in gaining credit for professional development or achieving professional qualifications (PG Cert, PG Dip or MA in Academic Practice), and academic and technical line managers.

What is the overall aim?

To inform UAL staff of the opportunities for accredited professional development to enable effective CPD planning.

What are the expected Learning Outcomes?

By the end of the session, you will:

• Understand how the CPD Framework is structured and the flexible options/ qualification routes
• Hear about the units being offered
• Be able to make informed choices about your own or your staff's CPD
