National Teaching Fellowship Scheme

National Teaching Fellowship Scheme

The University of the Arts London is proud to have two National Teaching Fellows, Terry Finnigan (2010) and Dr Shân Wareing (2011).

The National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) is a competition which aims to raise the profile of learning and teaching, recognise and celebrate individuals who make an outstanding impact on the student learning experience, and provide a national focus for institutional teaching and learning excellence schemes.

The NTFS is open to all higher education institutions in England, Northern Ireland and, since Autumn 2010, Wales. Each year, around fifty individual awards of £10,000, are made to recognise individual excellence. The NTFS is highly competitive and the University can nominate up to three individuals to be considered for recognition each year.
