Konstantinos Chalaris - BA Interior & Spatial Design Lecturer
Konstantinos Chalaris’ practice spans architecture, spatial and product design.
Chalaris is interested in the role of branding in relation to the built environment and how to add a physical dimension to the intangible.
He holds degrees in architecture and interior design, as well as, an MA from the Royal College of Art. Since graduating he has been exploring the symbiotic relationship between marketing and space, through both his practice and research.
Chalaris runs Supernova Studio, which has worked on projects in Europe, United States of America and China.
On the BA Interior and Spatial Design course at Chelsea College of Arts he is the history and theory tutor, as well as, being responsible for a BA studio. He also runs an MA studio in architecture at the University of Brighton.
Chalaris' work has been featured in various architecture and interior design magazines including; Mark, Icon, Frame and Elle Decoration. His work has also featured in books such as Fashion Worlds (Braun) and Utopia Forever (Gestalten).
He has been nominated for and won a number of international competitions. His work has been exhibited in Greece, India and in London, at the Houses of Parliament and the Science Museum.
