Before I studied with Chelsea College of Art in Dubai, I worked in Real Estate.

I have always been interested in Interiors but I couldn’t find a good standard of course in Dubai. Many of the Chelsea College of Art courses appealed to me, but I didn’t have the confidence to book, as I didn’t know if I would be suited to the level and content. I attended an Open Evening and it was perfect as it was an opportunity to meet with the tutors and ex-students. All my questions were answered, my anxieties quashed and I was able to select the courses that worked for me! After attending the Open Evening, I was excited to be learning something totally new that I was passionate about. Most of all, I saw it as a great opportunity to learn from experienced, highly qualified and savvy tutors. My biggest worry was paying for the course but I persuaded my husband to invest in the courses for me for my Christmas and Birthday!

As soon as I started my first course, I was very impressed with the professionalism of the tutors and how they were able to communicate their profession to us and share their vast lifetime design experiences. It made me wish I had started sooner.

My favourite element of the courses was learning from the tutors and sharing a passion with so many like-minded students. I feel that I have learnt how to approach interior design with a confidence in my ability as well as being able think outside the box and give lots of attention to detail.

My one piece of advice to someone who is unsure about studying these courses is: Don’t procrastinate and don’t be afraid!

It was worth every penny and it has changed my life, I would absolutely recommend these courses and I will be studying more courses with Chelsea College of Art in Dubai.
