This course will teach you a range of drawing techniques, starting with basic shapes, geometry and composition, leading to shading, presentation and preservation. Each session will include a lecture along with practical exercises, tailored to support and develop your individual techniques. This course will enrich your portfolio with professional drawings and will reinforce the basic principles of drawing to underpin and enhance the visual communication of your ideas.

Who Should Attend
Creative individuals who wish to reinforce their drawing techniques for art and design purposes, whether you are an artist, designer or future art student wishing to prepare a portfolio. Alternatively, you could be new to art and simply want to learn how to strengthen your techniques.
You will complete the course having gained an overview of drawing techniques. You will have developed your drawing skills and understand how these can be applied to your creative practice and ideas generation. You will know which materials to choose for you projects, the qualities of wet and dry media, as well as how to present and preserve your work.
Eden Lazaness is a London based artist and curator practicing drawing, video and installation. Her work is derived and inspired by social zeitgeist and the current human situation, and she strongly believes that art has a social role openly reflecting the life we live in now. She holds a MA Fine Arts degree from Chelsea College of Arts. Her work was exhibited worldwide and her latest project “In Between” was exhibited in Saatchi Gallery, London.

Pencils: 2H, F, HB, 2B, 6B.
Black ink and size 02 pointed artist brush
These materials will be discussed and explained further by your tutor I the first session.
Prior to the start of your course, please ensure:
You have a headset and microphone attached to your computer.
You have a webcam.
