This course provides a unique learning experience, which will help you to identify your individual strengths. Taking an innovative approach to everyday life is crucial to success. By developing your passions into expertise, you will identify how your strengths can stand you apart from the crowd! By participating in a variety of workshops, you will use alternative ways of learning, including narrative, making and the spontaneity of play. Through these workshops you will unlock your interests and explore the idea of creative identity. Using critical reflection, analysis and experimentation, you will gain confidence to taking an innovative stride towards shaping your future creative pathway!

Course Outcomes
The course will lead to an understanding of the undeniable need for creative identity as a tool to navigate through the creative industries and the everyday need for creative thinking. An essential component in a world in need of unique and innovative thinkers rather than people with a ‘wholesale’ knowledge and identical skill sets.

Tutor information

Dr Alexandra Antonopoulou is a practicing designer and children’s book illustrator. Alexandra considers both design and story-making as tools for life. As part of this her teaching, research and practice are concerned with discourses on learning, shared authorship, power and collaboration. Currently a Senior Lecturer, her multidisciplinary design practice and research has been showcased at the Victoria & Albert Museum, the London Design Museum, the Whitechapel Gallery, the E4 channel and several universities and research institutions internationally.
