Description

You will soon have a solid grounding in all the core principles of Vectorworks; software which is in widespread use in design and architecture. You'll learn how to set up a project to scale, and develop drawing strategies. You'll work on your 2D and 3D drawing while exploring lighting, rendering, symbols and 3D drawing manipulation. Your tutor will also help you prepare working drawings and explain how to print and export to other applications. Please note this course is taught on a Mac computer .

Course Outcomes

You will leave with a comprehensive knowledge of Vectorworks. You'll have produced a number of digital images including plans, elevations, sections and perspective views. You'll realise why Vectorworks is the industry standard drawing and visualisation package for interior design and small and medium architecture practices, and is being used increasingly in the film industry for production and set design.

Marcello Martino is a graduate of University of Arts London, a design consultant and creative director of Marcello Martino Design; an industrial design studio that specialises in producing ‘cool’ must -have lifestyle products, and interiors that connect brands to target audiences. He has worked on a number of high profile projects locally and internationally and is the winner, and finalist of various awards. He thrives on using the latest applications as part of the design process, constantly expanding his knowledge of new technologies to improve the quality of his work and his passion for visual communication.

Rajinder has been working as freelance design consultant for over ten years. With a BA in Business Management and Diploma Interior Architecture and also PGCE in Education. Rajinder has considerable interior and product design experience, working independently and collaboratively with established designers. Rajinder is inspired by exploring narrative and origins of a concept. Describes his discipline influenced by the environment, materials, sustainability and politics. Rajinder has exceptional specialist knowledge in the application computer aided design. Most recently, Rajinder has been involved with renovation projects and curriculum development.
