Chris Kearns runs a small, independent interior design practice. Her services cover interior architecture, design and decoration as well as furniture design in both the commercial and residential sectors. Chris spent over 12 years working in branding and advertising before retraining as an interior designer at the University of the Arts, London. She decided on a career change after completely renovating two of her own houses and subsequently being asked to help friends with their refurbishments. Chris now works closely with clients to develop individual spaces that look beautiful and work beautifully – delivered with meticulous attention to detail, budget and timing. Chris believes that good design can be unobtrusive, but it should always change how we feel about a space and how we behave within it. Chris’s commercial projects have featured in The Times, The Guardian, The Independent, Metro, British Airways Highlife Magazine and Lancashire Life Magazine. One of her restaurant projects has just been listed in Time Out’s Best Restaurants in London Guide 2015 and two have made it into Tatler’s Best Restaurants in the UK Guides 2011 and 2013.
