Matteo Bianchi is an interior and product designer with an entrepreneurial flair. Born in the City of Venice, Bianchi’s inherent passion for design led him to train at the Chelsea College of Arts in London after a brief career in Retail and Advertising.
Matteo Bianchi is the Founder and Director of the Matteo Bianchi Studio which combines playful, unique and refined Interior and Product design; a natural progression after he successfully launched his first product, the Muffin Pouffe, in 2011. Working on both commercial and residential projects in London and internationally, Matteo Bianchi Studio aims to fill the niche between solo interior designers and multinational design consultancies. Projects have ranged from a luxury French bed-linen corner fit-out at Harrods, a boutique hotel in Venice to a 3 storey house in Chelsea shortlisted for two major awards and a sophisticated bar in the heart of Lagos. Matteo Bianchi collaborates with many creative’s in the fields of Architecture, Design, Fashion and Food; some of his many passions which also include traveling and teaching at several international Schools.
Matteo is also regarded as an influential designer in the Middle East and was invited to deliver a Keynote Speech at the prestigious INDEX Exhibition in Dubai, in May 2013.
