Packed with practical examples and fresh ideas, your tutor will help you to unleash your creativity and discover new ways to transform a tiny house into a light, welcoming and surprisingly spacious-feeling home. Gain design inspiration, tips and skills to develop a concept and effectively translate this into a functional and stylish design. You will draw upon examples of spectacular designs by famous interior designers to find out the many possibilities of increasing the feeling of spaciousness. Particular attention will be given to sourcing suitable furniture that is flexible and transformative, as well as showing you simple methods to design a unique and tasteful interior. The course will be delivered via presentations, short exercises and discussions.
By the end of this course you will understand the key design processes and steps to apply to designing smart interiors for a tiny house. You will have the confidence to successfully plan your design, plus know how to identify and take the necessary steps to create your desired environment.

Daniele Bedini is an Interior and product designer. Over his career, he has designed contemporary residential interiors, commercial and exhibition spaces as well as installations and shops. He works as a product designer for many companies including Bardelli Ceramiche, TM Italia kitchens, Rubinetterie, Qsquared Design and IGuzzini Illuminazione.
He works a consultant in Space Habitability and Space Habitat technologies for ESA (European Space Agency) and was responsible for the first commercial experiment in Space, for ESA.
Daniele teaches at Chelsea College of Arts, Royal College of Art and Kingston University where he is responsible for the Space Design course, supported by ESA and NASA.
