This one-day introduction to video editing will introduce you to using Adobe Premiere Pro software, designed for creative professionals. By undertaking simple editing exercises, you will start to learn the key skills required for editing creative ‘moving image’ projects as installed on Mac Book Pro and other laptops. With a few fundamental skills you will be able to effectively undertake your own creative video post-production. Your tutor will also provide essential advice about the key skills needed to organise your own video material when undertaking an arts project.

You will have gained practical hands on experience in using Premiere Pro editing software that will give you sufficient skills to embark on your own video work. You will also have greater knowledge about further specialised edit training you may benefit from should you wish to expand your freelance work portfolio.

All Levels Welcome
Students may wish to bring their own laptops with Premiere Pro installed and/or a few video clips in mov or mp4 format (total length not to exceed 2mins ) on a flash drive, but this is absolutely not essential.
