Antlers (2008)

Jamie Taylor
Oil on canvas

This work utilises a snapshot image 'found' from a publicly accessible photo sharing site, of an unknown character. Typical of everyday snapshot photography, the character adopts a humorous pose, while the vivid colours and cheerful persona betray a darker narrative. The artist, Jamie Taylor (Wimbledon, 2008), studied MA Fine Art.
