What is the Alumni Association?
As a former student or former member of staff of one of the six Colleges of University of the Arts London, you belong to a unique, international network of creative individuals from a wide range of subject areas in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts.
You are automatically a member of the Alumni Association and your involvement will enable you to meet fellow alumni from your industry, network with alumni from different disciplines, find collaborative partners, seek careers advice and information about creative opportunities, access cutting edge research, attend talks, exhibitions and events, access generous discounts, and share your expertise with others.
What do the terms alumna, alumnus or alumni mean?
An alumna (f), alumnus (m) is a graduate of a School or College. Alumni (pl) refers to our community of former students.
Who are considered to be alumni of University of the Arts London?
If you have studied for a year or more at one of the Colleges of University of the Arts London, or one of their former constituent Colleges, you are considered to be an alumnus/a.

How do I access the libraries of University of the Arts London?
As a former student you can enjoy free reference access to University libraries. In order to join, email alumni@arts.ac.uk or telephone 020 7514 8505 for a library access application form and your alumni ID number.
How do I receive information about exhibitions and other special events?
Keeping us up to date with your current contact details will ensure you are invited to exhibitions and special events. If we have your current details you will also receive our biannual magazine and monthly email bulletin.
What professional advice and support services does University of the Arts London provide?
Creative Careers
You have lifelong access to the Careers Information Centre within the Careers Service at University of the Arts London, based at High Holborn.
Artquest provides an advice and information service to London's visual arts professionals at all stages of their careers. Artquest has an extensive website and offers an email and telephone helpline, bookable one-to-one advice sessions with specialist artists advisors, training and seminar events.
How do I get a copy of my degree certificate or my academic records?
For a copy of your degree certificate you can contact the Registry department on 020 7514 6120 or email awards@arts.ac.uk

How do I get in touch with someone I studied with?
If you have lost touch with someone that you studied with at University of the Arts London contact us on 020 7514 8505 or email alumni@arts.ac.uk with the name of your friend, the College they attended, the subject they studied, together with the year of graduation. If we have their contact details on our database, we would be pleased to contact them on your behalf. We are unable to provide you with their contact details due to the regulations of the Data Protection Act of 1998.
Are there overseas alumni associations?

I have a vacancy / work experience position at my workplace that might be of interest to alumni - who should I contact?
The Creative Careers department can advertise vacancies and work experience on their website. Contact the Careers team on 020 7514 6150 or visit the website www.arts.ac.uk/student to post your vacancy under Creative Opportunities.
