Tickets: £10
Tuesday 24 January 2006, 7pm (doors open at 6.30pm)
T Bar, The TeaBuilding, 56 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 www.artfund.org
What is interactive art? Is it an art form, is it design? Is it about the artist or audience? Where should it be seen? Is it the most important art form in the digital age? Join in the debate and hear four leading experts share their views; Matt Adams (Founder of the artists group Blast Theory), Ross Cooper (Multidisciplinary designer and tutor at Central Saint Martin’s), Lauren Parker (Curator of Contemporary Programmes at the V&A) and Stefano Roveda (Interactive designer of Studio Azzurro). Organised by the National Art Collections Fund (Art Fund).
Mentoring Opportunity
CSM alumna Debra Franses-Bean has a multidisciplinary background. She won the Digetex Student of the Year sponsorship and has shown her work in Germany, Australia, London, the U.S. and Italy. Her fabrics and wallpapers are situated somewhere between fashion, interior design and fine art. She has also launched a commercial wallpaper and textile limited edition range "interior couture". This year she is looking for support from an artist mentor to help guide her.
