How to Donate
Thank you for choosing to make a donation to University of the Arts London. We welcome all charitable donations and have made it as easy as possible for you to make a gift.

Make your gift to UAL worth even more – at no extra cost to you
If you are a UK tax payer, you can make every £1 you give – or have given – worth 25p more, just by telling us. This is because the government’s Gift Aid scheme allows UAL to reclaim tax on donation. This means that you can make an even bigger difference at no extra cost to you.

For your donations to be eligible for Gift Aid you must pay an amount of income and/or capital gains tax for each tax year (6 April one year to 5 April the next) that is at least equal to the tax that all charities reclaim on your donations in that same year.
If you pay higher rate tax you can claim further tax relief in your Self Assessment tax return.

UAL is able to offer a tax-efficient mechanism of giving to American taxpayers through the British Schools and Universities Foundation (BSUF), a charitable organisation approved by the IRS under Section 501(c)(3) of their Code.
You can make your donation to BSUF, expressing a ‘preference for University of the Arts London’ using the detachable Donor Transmittal Form (BSUF Giving Form below). Your cheque should be made payable to the ‘British Schools & Universities Foundation’. Please post your cheque and form to BSUF. BSUF will let us know and will send you a receipt which can be used with your next tax return.

In addition, UAL accepts donations though CAF American Donor Fund and CAF America. US only taxpayers can make donations to UAL via CAF America while UK/USA dual registered taxpayers can make donations to UAL via CAF American Donor Fund.
Terms and conditions for online donations
Thank you for considering making an online donation to University of the Arts London. This section sets out the terms and conditions on which you may make financial charitable donations to University of the Arts London through the on-line system ("the system"). Please read the terms and conditions carefully before you make a donation.
If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not make a donation through the system.

1. Who we are and our Charitable Status
1.1 References in these terms and conditions to "we", "our" and "us" are references to us, the University of the Arts London, a Higher Education Corporation, of 272 High Holborn, London WC1V 7EY, United Kingdom.
1.2 University of the Arts London has charitable status under the Charities Act 1993, and is exempt from charity registration.
2.1 Data Protection Act (1998): Under the confines of this act, University of the Arts London will use the information provided by you for educational, social and charitable purposes only.
2.2 You must register with us in order to be able to make a financial donation through our on-line system. When you register, you must provide us with accurate, current and complete registration information. You must also update us with any changes to your registration information, including changes in your email or postal address.
2.3 If you complete your alumni details when prompted, you are joining the University of the Arts Alumni Association ("the association"). You may receive email, postal or phone communications from the association regarding ways to keep in touch, events, news and ways to continue to show your support. If you do not wish to receive communications from the association or have a mailing preference you must contact the association and ask to be removed from the mailing lists.
2.4 When you make a donation through the system we will use your details to send you information on our development programme, including how donations have been used across the university and ongoing/future fundraising campaigns.
2.5 We reserve the right at our absolute discretion to refuse any request for registration, or to cancel any existing registration, for any reason whatsoever.
2.6 We are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of people who use the system. We may disclose your personal data to our officers, employees, consultants and agents, and to any of our subsidiary companies. We may disclose your personal data to (other) third parties where we are under a duty to do so in order to comply with any legal obligation.
3. Use and acknowledgement of donations
3.1 Once you have completed using the system, we will send an email acknowledging that we have received your donation. (Normally entitled "Thank You for Your Donation").
3.2 Your donation will be designated to the fund you have selected through the system. If we need to reassign donations should we become unable to fulfil the purpose of the gift, wherever possible, this will be done in full consultation with the Donor.
4.1 We may change these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be displayed. You are deemed to have agreed to any changes when you next use the system following any such changes. However, no change will affect the terms and conditions that apply to any donation you have previously made to us.
