Russia Alumni Group
The Russian alumni group, headed up by Anna Mokhova, is a vibrant and active community, who meet regularly in the Moscow area. All UAL alumni are encouraged to get involved with the group's many activities.
The group meets every month for their own ‘Share it!’ debate club, which is a platform for sharing practice, receiving feedback and getting involved in the critical debate, curated by and for UAL alumni.
Recent Russia activity
This summer the UAL Russian Alumni Group co-organised an art and design festival with Danish furniture brand BoConcept. Sixteen artists with varied international backgrounds and education, including many UAL alumni, took part in the exhibition and talks programme. The festival lasted for ten days and took place in two BoConcept showrooms in Moscow. Find out more via our blog.
The group also held their first ever marketplace on 23 May 2015 at one on Moscow’s coolest hangouts. The daylong event consisted of a marketplace, an exhibition, lectures and workshops. With over thirty UAL alumni taking part in the marketplace, this was the group’s largest event to date. Read more about the marketplace event.
