Workflow

What is Workflow?

All staff and students have access to Workflow which acts as an ePortfolio or eStudio for creative disciplines. It enables students to collect and curate images, video and other media, publishing their content selectively to different audiences (1-to-1, within a cohort or openly online) and share information. Students can take control of their area of Workflow, modifying the layout and the visual style. They can also work collaboratively in groups.

Why use Workflow?

There are two main uses of Workflow:

  • Course teams use Workflow to encourage students to make the process of creative thinking visible to each other and to industry. It is also used to improve reflection and research skills. For examples of how Workflow is being used in practice, visit the Technology Enhanced Learning Blog
  • Individuals can independently set up a Workflow site to make their work visible online.
