Stephen is University Secretary and Registrar at University of the Arts London.

Stephen joined UAL in 2007 and has worked within the university sector for over 20 years.

His key responsibilities as University Secretary and Registrar include corporate governance, legal, student-facing services across the university’s registry service, student recruitment marketing and admissions.

Stephen joined UAL from Oxford Brookes University, where he was Academic Registrar. Previous roles within the sector included research management, NHS training contract delivery, quality assurance and faculty management.

He is currently a member of the Association of Heads of University Administration, has served on various national agency groups and held trustee roles at schools and at a university.
